TruAudio Introduces the BeatDrop™ Pendant Speaker
HURRICANE, UT – 6/6/16 - TruAudio, a global leader of premium architectural, outdoor and commercial speakers, announced today they have released a new pendant commercial speaker. The BeatDrop™ Series, a UL 1480 listed speaker, is ideal for rooms or venues with open architecture or high-ceilings where a pendant is needed.
The BeatDrop™ Series blends innovation with modern aesthetics. The BeatDrop™ is an 8-inch, two-way ported pendant speaker with a 1” silk soft dome tweeter. A 110-degree dispersion angle is designed to provide an accurate and wide pattern combined with low bass extension giving it excellent sound reproduction. The BeatDrop™ is engineered for popular commercial areas such as sports arenas, restaurants, bars, stores, convention centers, lofts and shopping malls. These pendant speakers are 8ohm/70V switchable, rated at 125 watts RMS in 8ohm and 70V taps from 2 to 50 watts. This makes the BeatDrop™ ideal for use in background, foreground, paging and sound reinforcement systems. It comes in black or white finishes and with two Gripple®-brand tool-less hanging kits for fast and easy mounting.
